We have received plans to renovate the community center from the architect. The next step will be to go out for bids to contractors. We are on our way to beginning the renovation. The renovated building will serve the needs of the community much better than the present building, as well as be much more attractive. Hopefully, we will all be able to enjoy the new center once it is completed. The kitchen will be larger and more functional. It will be an excellent place to host parties, showers, reunions, etc. REMINDER: Rentals should be arranged through Joanne Radford.

The constables will patrol at random times of the day and night on random days. The purpose of this is to not alert the criminals of when they might expect to encounter the patrolmen. They will be issuing tickets, making arrests, and notifying the city of any city ordinance violations they have cited. This would include improperly parked vehicles and vehicles with expired licenses and inspection stickers. If you know of a problem area that should be monitored, please notify Jackie Harrison or Larry Greer so that this information may be passed on to the patrolling constables.

The Chron.com did a great story on Bellaire West. It discusses life in BW, home value increases in the recent years and its future. Overall, it was a very positive look at homeownership in the Bellaire West area.
